LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER

A mid 30′ house in Westbury on Trym – Bristol – with beautiful original art déco details and finishes. Few rooms need re-thinking, starting with the living room. It’s just the very beginning of a transformation. The client’s requirement was to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for herself and her family during their visits, and sought to transform this cluttered room accordingly.

“I want every room to tell a story”, Livia told me. Her key words to describe it were “Style, formality, bizantine, unique, richness and opulence but not overstated”.

This is what inspired me to design a look that breaches conventional schemes. A balanced blend of contemporary and Mid Century iconic designer’s pieces, create a timeless statement for a sophisticated and warm atmosphere.
