“I want to help people live in beautiful spaces and I want it to be accessible to everyone and not just a privilege of the few” I said to a dear friend.

And he came up with an incredible word…democracy.

Later, I came across democratic design, a vision introduced by French designer Phillip Stark as “design that provides quality pieces at accessible prices.” I was fascinated by the word democratic associated with something made for consumption.

I decided to carry this vision into residential interior design, making everyday spaces beautiful and unique yet also affordable and planet – friendly.

I achieve this vision by transferring knowledge to my clients, collaborating with small local makers, carefully selecting suppliers and championing sustainable interior design and the circular economy cycle. I support local independent shops, makers, traders  and artists and I am constantly expanding my connections.

My network of local traders and makers ensure your projects are custom made to the higher standard, delivered on time and with reduced supply chain costs.

Central to my ethos is a commitment to meaning and sustainability, from selecting tradespeople to sourcing products. I reinvent and repurpose existing items, collaborate with local artisans and carefully curate suppliers to champion the circular economy, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.

I design how I live, connected to my values.

Integrity.

I value transparency, accountability and social justice in all my work. I prioritize my client’s best interest as much as my own and I help them invest their money wisely by prioritizing items that are worth investing in, while also finding creative ways to reusing and repurposing.

Sustainability.

I care about the provenance of materials and the longevity of design solutions and root my work in the respect of what already exists, what is handmade and what is local. I achieve this vision by transferring knowledge to my clients, collaborating with small local makers, carefully selecting suppliers and championing sustainable interior design and the circular economy cycle.

Quality.

I pursue quality over quantity and creativity over consumption. My belief in universal beauty leads me to redefine the concept of luxury living by looking at the inner value behind mere aesthetics. I use my imagination to produce something original for every client and to design spaces that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Beauty.

Beauty is universal and therefore should be accessible to everyone. Democratic design was introduced by French designer Phillip Stark as “design that provides quality pieces

at accessible prices.” I was fascinated by the word democratic associated with something made for consumption. I support the work of Furnishing Futures, creating fully furnished, trauma-informed homes that give hope and dignity to women and children placed in empty social housing after escaping domestic abuse.

With a passion for innovation and an eye for timeless beauty, Marta Rossato Interiors sets a standard of excellence and aims to continue pushing boundaries, creating interiors that are a testament to my commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability and the transformative power of design.

If this resonates, I would love to hear from you.
