This project transforms the ground floor of a traditional mid 1950s corner house from a series of enclosed rooms into a fluid, open plan space tailored to contemporary living. Targeted structural changes redefined the layout, creating continuity while integrating a new utility and secondary toilet. The kitchen sits at the heart of this redesign, partially screened to balance openness with intimacy, while subtle shifts in ceiling height and colour boldly define each area.

A deep, enveloping teal unifies the space, enhanced by Mid-Century Modern furiniture and carefully curated elements that add a personal, lived-in feel.
